Terms & Conditions
- a) All sponsorships will usually be awarded on a first come, first served basis and will be subject to a Sponsorship Agreement. The Facilities Management Association of New Zealand (FMANZ) retains the right to reject any sponsor and/or exhibitor at its sole discretion.
b) Sponsors must provide logo images (in the format required) and other details such as correct use of sponsor’s name and trademarks to FMANZ within 10 days of receipt of acceptance.
c) Upon acceptance the sponsor and/or exhibitor will be invoiced. Payment in full will be due within 20 working days of invoice.
d) Sponsorship and exhibitor acceptance cannot be processed without payment.
e) FMANZ will not be liable for damage or loss to a sponsor’s and/or exhibitor’s properties through fire, theft, accident or any other cause, whether the result of negligence or otherwise.
f) For sponsorship opportunities that include signage, please note that signage is the responsibility of the sponsor and/or exhibitor.
g) A sponsor or exhibitor may withdraw from the Sponsorship or Exhibition subject to the following conditions:
i. Notice to withdraw must be in writing sent to the organiser/FMANZ.
ii. Payments will be as follows:
• Notice received 14 or more weeks prior to the event will not incur a withdrawal fee.
• Notice received 10 to 13 weeks prior to the event will incur a withdrawal fee of 25% of the total cost of the sponsor package or
exhibition stand.
• Notice received 6 to 9 weeks prior to the event will incur a withdrawal fee of 50% of the total cost of the sponsor package or exhibition stand.
• Notice received 4 to 5 weeks prior to the event will incur a withdrawal fee of 75% of the total cost of the sponsor package or exhibition stand.
• Notice received within 4 weeks prior to the event will incur a withdrawal fee of 100% of the total cost of the sponsor package or exhibition stand.
h) FMANZ reserves the right to make changes to event programmes and agendas and to determine the location of exhibition stands at its discretion. Unforeseen circumstances may result in the substitution of a presentation, venue, topic or speaker.
i) Registrants, speakers, sponsors, exhibitors or other attendees or agents assume all risks incidental to participation in all event activities, including loss or damage to property and/or personal injury.
j) Where FMANZ takes photos/videos at events, by attending you give permission to use images taken at the event, as well as any written comments
on our evaluation forms in advertising and promotion.
k) In the event that there is any inconsistency between these guidelines and the Sponsorship or Exhibitor Agreement, the Sponsorship or Exhibitor Agreement will prevail.
